In 2024, he signed a letter to UK Labour leader Keir Starmer, calling for an end to UK arms sales to Israel amid Gaza’s humanitarian crisis. In 2025, he was among 735 media figures who criticized the BBC for pulling the documentary Gaza: How to Survive a Warzone from iPlayer, describing the removal as “censorship on Palestine” and defending the film’s portrayal of Palestinian children’s experiences. Additionally, in 2024, he supported a Hollywood letter to SAG-AFTRA, condemning the suppression of pro-Palestinian voices in the industry and criticizing Israel’s bombardment and occupation
